We recently sponsored a group of participants for a fun weekend of extreme adaptive cycling in Killington, Vt. — full of downhill rides, top speeds, and twists, turns and jumps over mountainous terrain. The riders enjoyed an intense trail ride at Gifford Woods State Park, with more than 800 feet of climbing elevation. Not only did they push their limits, but their feedback will be used to decide if the trail will officially be sanctioned as an adaptive mountain biking trail. Special thanks to our Adaptive Sports and Therapeutic Recreation teams and our organizing partners, the Kelly Brush Foundation and Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports!
