Ex-Serial Job Hopper | Affiliate Marketing Coach 💻| Transitioned Teacher 🍎 | Writer 📚 | Traveler 🌏 | Mrs. Colorado Springs 👑
Guess how much I made my first year as a teacher? $33,000 -$6,000 for teacher training classes that took up my Saturdays -$92 for my license -$54 for my fingerprints and background check -$400 for classroom supplies, snacks, and incentives for my students. -That's not counting what my bachelor's and master's degree costed (luckily most of mine was covered by academic scholarships - this is not typical) This cover is from 2018, but the fact that it is six years later and we are still in the same place speaks volumes. While teachers continue to be disrespected, their jobs called "easy," and their pay still too low, the public cries, "Do it for the kids! You didn't become a teacher for the money." However, teachers still have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Hindsight is 20-20, but rather than investing all this money in becoming a teacher, I should have started my own business back then. I am on track for my first $10,000 month, but had I started then, I would probably be matching my yearly teacher salary in a month. Those who have transitioned out of the classroom or who are transitioning out of the classroom, I see you and support you! Those who are still in the classroom, you are incredible and doing very important work. Tag a teacher in the comments to show your appreciation!

Partner Engagement -Higher Education/School Districts - Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri
Do you need help with your teacher pipeline? I would love to help you like I am helping other districts. Here's how it works: 1. District office contacts me about a candidate who is short on credits, but they want to hire as a teacher after going through a program. 2. We work to figure out where the candidate stands credit-wise and either enroll them then or figure out what is needed to enroll them later. 3. If candidate enrolls, we work with the district to offer direct billing as a payment option to make it easier for the district. 4. The student is able to take the bachelor's-level courses they need to become a teacher with a cost under $300 a credit hour including books and fees. 5. The district works with a direct contact (me) and I work with my team to make it a stream-lined, simple process for everyone involved. The end result is that a steady pipeline is created for the district through a systematic and well-organized flow that is easy on everyone.
