Reading about The network of fungi Mycorrhizae, and certain species of tree e.g. old English Oak “It supports over 300 species and subspecies of lichens and a staggering number of invertebrate species…,” and habitats for them… and food (acorns…. 700,000 soft leaves a year ….. The droppings from the many species provides a natural fertilizer
