With a focus on #climatechange, #biodiversityloss, and #pollution, legal responses to implement critical obligations under the relevant multilateral environment agreements (MEAs),including the Paris Agreement on climate change, the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), and the Basel Convention on Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes, synergistic coherence remains effective while also ensuring young people play an important role through their innovative thinking and perspectives which is a critical asset to tackle planetary crisis.

In another bold action showing its commitment to climate resilience and community input, the Biden administration today finalized a refined and improved course of action for how federal agencies should implement the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the country’s bedrock environmental law.
