Governments, corporations, and businesses are slow to make changes for the planet. It's time for humanity to make changes at a grassroots level. This is the time to start renewable energy businesses with innovations and inventions that can change the world. At the same time, we can start community cleanup drives for land and sea. Don't wait for the governments and corporations to take the lead, the people of Earth should lead.

This is all thanks to our irresponsible authorities who are asleep, allowing the most destructive sectors to continue developing. Sad but true.

The private corporations should take a lead as they are the major contributors of carbon emissions . Nature based solutions and biodiversity conservation are good tools when it comes to controling climate change however, they are mostly used as maintaining the equilibrium but not reducing the emissions until the credit market mechanism is improved . Moreover, carbon financing is another area where structural changes and innovation could be brought in to these large corporations in improving their processes and move towards green operations.

Absolutely agree. If we don't take decisive action today, the crises of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution will only worsen. One way to control is by reducing carbon emissions and investing in sustainable public transportation, we can make a significant impact. Together, we have the power to keep global temperatures below 1.5°C and create a healthier planet for future generations. Let's commit to a greener future now!

It is a wake-up call for all of us to take action. It's not just about making a few individual changes, but about systemic transformation. We need to shift our economic, social, & cultural priorities to center around the well-being of humans & environment, rather than solely focusing on financial prosperity.

My Country Pakistan has had the Worst of Global Warming effect in 2022. According to scientific research, climate change played a substantial role in the devastating floods of 2022, which had a direct impact on over 30 million people in Pakistan, resulting in the loss of lives, damage to public infrastructure, and displacement from homes. The World must come together to rectify and have a reverse Gear on Carbon Emission.

UNDP, The urgency of our planet's crisis cannot be overstated. Last year marked the hottest on record, and 2024 threatens to surpass it. We hold the solutions within our grasp to combat climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. Together, we can strive for a future where global temperatures stay below the critical 1.5°C limit. Let's make peace with nature, embracing sustainable practices that preserve our environment for future generations. Each of us has a role to play in this global effort, and our collective action today will define the world we leave behind tomorrow. Join the movement towards a healthier, more sustainable planet—it's within our power to make a difference.

With the passage of Hurricane Beryl and the watching and waiting, I am genuinely convinced that we need preservation now more than ever. I really cannot understand how we humans believe that we can continue to exploit our earth and the space above us for monetary gains and talk about solutions at the same time🤦♀️ We justify all that we are developing for monetary gains, to speed and for power but we are only making things worse for others...but we don't see that. We need to re-think!! As we reclaim areas for high end, futuristic developments we continue to marginalize many - who become more at risk to earth's elements. We continue to exploit the earth natural resources and we are not thinking of preservation at all!! Though we see the effects globally, we are still trying to play GOD to control or fix when in reality we are negatively impacting our world. It is sad!! Words like simplicity, preservation, conservation are too boring for many. As such, we are developing things to please our egos and ignoring plain common sense.🤦♀️
