#IMO #A33 The Mexican WMU Alumni Association welcomes the excellent decision of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to broadcast live, for the first time, the debates of its 33rd Session of the Assembly. In addition to being a brave and innovative act of transparency and accountability, this decision will allow for greater and wider dissemination of the important work of the IMO, and therefore a greater understanding of its elaborate decision-making mechanism. For those who are not familiar with the functioning of a multilateral organization of the United Nations System, they should keep in mind that there are diplomatic forms, which allow for civilized debate and the achievement of agreements among 175 governments and nearly 100 non-governmental organizations, which represent a huge variety of positions and interests in the maritime industry worldwide. VTC1 | Half a Century of Reunification: The Resilience of Vietnamese Aspirations Nearly 50 years ago, the Spring 1975 General Offensive and Uprising achieved a complete victory on the afternoon of April 30, 1975, ending over 100 years of Vietnam's occupation and division. Rivers and mountains converged into one, unifying the nation. In my conversation with the Voice of Vietnam, I shared insights on topics such as national unity and its crucial role in victory, the transformation of Ho Chi Minh City over the past five decades, and the key factors that have propelled it to become the economic hub of the entire country.

The African Union responded for air space liberalization effort and formulated Yamoussoukro Decision of 1999 and later the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) on the 28th of January 2018, during the 30th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly held in Addis Ababa. It is one of Agenda 2063 African Union flagship projects aimed to create a single unified and liberalized air transport market in Africa. The instrumentality of the project is the full implementation of Yamoussoukro Decision of 1999, signed by 44 African countries in Yamoussoukro, the de jure capital city of Ivory Coast.
