Future and Metro Boomin have had a busy 2024 so far! From being the headline act for Rolling Loud L.A. in March, then launching the two albums 'We Don't Trust You' and 'We Still Don't Trust You' back-to-back and eventually both debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and then a 'We Trust You' tour around the corner. Not forgetting the track 'Like That' which triggered a whole series of beefs and disses between K Dot and Drake. Anyway, here is Episode 17 of 'U Know What's Up!?!', an episode about Trust Issues... Running this YouTube Channel is probably the biggest DIY project in my life and given the current run-rate, I shall be up to Episode 26 by the middle of September this year, which means on average I've been pushing 1 Episode every 2 weeks since September last year! Talk about #consistency This doesn't include my other series 'Flexin' It With Frestylz' where I'm doing the post-editing, the promo videos that I'm also working on for every episode so I can post on IG and TikTok, and also the new series on IG I just created recently called 'What Time Is Up!'! There are some really fun developments in this world, from: 1️⃣ content creators learning the power of a jingle or audio hook to gain instant recognition in the newsfeed; 2️⃣ to the use of emerging artists’ music as themetunes for massive podcasts, as well as; 3️⃣ the resurgence of the TV ad jingle by brands like Domino-o-os. Dave Trott has been singing about the virtues of jingles for years, since his famous Ariston-and-on-and-on-and-on campaign and many others.
