All of the students and organizers in Mojave for the autonomous UAV competition really enjoyed learning about hydrogen and seeing the iron bird ! They asked great questions and were so interested that they all decided to pose for a picture in front of it. We talked with students from Cal State LA, CSU Bakersfield, San Diego State, and Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay, plus we were parked in front of Voyager so we got a good number of intrigued strangers as well. All were very optimistic about the future of hydrogen !

Interesting how these posts live on after the company closes up shop. Universal Hydrogen closed its doors in June after failing to secure additional funding. There are still many players in the alternative fuels field for aircraft. Hopefully the hard work and lessons learned by Universal Hydrogen is not lost.
Impressive growth! Hydrogen can significantly benefit the aviation industry by reducing CO2 emissions. Hydrogen fuel offers zero CO2 emissions, high energy density, and is lighter than traditional jet fuel, leading to fuel efficiency improvements.
Congratulations! 👏🎉🎊 #GreenHydrogen is NOT a golden panacea but it WILL play a pivotal role on the path to #decarbonization! 🛩️♻️☀️💨🌊💚🌎🕊️ #hydrogen #hydrogenfuelcells #h2 #lh2 #sustainableaviation #sustainability #ANDnotOR
Fantastic!
Mark Cousin, former CEO of Universal Hydrogen https://lnkd.in/ehQkEhGC in a now deleted LinkedIn post blames Jon Gordon https://lnkd.in/eCBN3WVD "for making false and defamatory statements against employees and shareholders whilst seeking to line their own pockets financially they should be ashamed ". It is worth noting that Jon Gordon left the company one month before the company fold its business. Hard to believe investors and VCs to continue to fund such playground. We are pleased to repost
