The U.S. Department of Commerce’s U.S. Economic Development Administration is awarding a $500,000 grant to the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center in Easton. Today, as part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a Notice of Intent to open a competition for new research and development activities that will establish and accelerate domestic capacity for semiconductor advanced packaging. The CHIPS for America program anticipates up to $1.6 billion in funding innovation across five R&D areas, as outlined in the vision for the National Advanced Packaging Manufacturing Program. https://lnkd.in/eN2ec9jn

The Commerce Department’s USPTO recently announced a new National Strategy for Inclusive Innovation to connect more Americans with resources to spur innovation and entrepreneurship. The Biden administration is issuing a total ban on the use of a Russian-backed cybersecurity software in the United States due to the Russian government's alleged influence operations over the software.
