Since this talented young man joined the team at MR we've been teaching him how to play darts. We suspect he's been practicing in his own time because today he threw his first bullseye in our regular Thursday game of Bullseye Bonus. STANLEY MUG & FIRE & PERFECT RESPONSE If you work in marketing or social media you're gonna love what Stanley's doing here. Woman posted video on TikTok 2 days ago showing the remnants of her car which was on fire. That video is at 60 million views right now. There is not a stronger endorsement that you could get for the Stanley mug. Funny story: even after the fire took place there, Stanley's cup had ice in it! Unless than a day later Stanley responds "we've never done this before and we'll probably never do it again. But we love to replace your vehicle" And that IS the perfect response! President Stanley gets on TikTok says "I'm so sorry what you've gone through. We're gonna send you Stanley but we're also gonna send you a new car". Stanley's gonna spend maybe 30-40 thousand dollars per car (or above? What do you think?), which they probably already made up in sales from the original video. But just from the sheer exposure that they get (this video is already at 18 million views within a day) and the insane goodwill that they're building - it is just excellent execution. Celebrities can play a huge roll in how consumers perceive alcohol.. duh! Somebody find a celebrity willing to go viral teaching the youth how to open a wine bottle. The bottle being used is going to be the next sold out wine.. If this is the average American consumer in their mid 20's, do they have the potential to be a collector in the future? If not them, than who?
