F1 pit stop is a demonstration of human performance, team work, and perfection.
Fascinating story about how they can change 4 tires and refuel in 1.86 seconds. For a long time, pit stop timing didn’t change much when folks were looking for incremental improvements. So they started off by imagining instant change in 0 seconds and adding only must do and hyper optimized tasks.
I think we need to do the same with net-zero targets. Rather than looking at current processes and practices, we need to start with a net zero state and start adding back what is absolutely needed for us. Sometimes changing the reference frame and starting with a blank slate will drive efficiency and optimization rather than looking at BAU (Business As Usual) and trying to shave off emissions.

Ahh that’s my absolute favourite one of the day!! Nice surprise in it as well - now to get the audition application form in for BGT….
