Alternating Currents is the kind of event that makes me proud to be a Quad Citizen. It's the type of festival that raises the bar in creativity and provides an authentic community experience. I've been fortunate to work on a lot of really cool projects in my career. AC is by far my favorite. It speaks to my soul because as a young girl, living in a small town, it would have meant the absolute world to me to have this type of access to arts activations in my community. The growth of this event is limitless but it's going to need more engagement from the business community. If your company is interested in quality of place initiatives for the Quad Cities, #ACQC is a great way to show support. It's the only bi-state, multi-city festival of its kind. YOUR SUPPORT HELPS: + Invest in an all-ages vibrant arts culture, inspiring young people to see the Quad Cities as an amenity-rich place where all can thrive. + Activate the heart of our cities; a critical component to the Quad Cities’ ability to attract and retain families, young professionals and workforce. + Support local small businesses by investing in activations that not only directly impact sales over the festival weekend, but provide greater visibility for new customer discovery. + Draw visitors from across the Midwest and beyond to spend money here and become advocates for the Quad Cities. + Foster growth and champion the next gen of local talent. A myriad of opportunities are available, showcasing how local businesses can align themselves with this dynamic festival to not only gain exposure but also contribute to the community's cultural enrichment. Shoot me a message if you'd like to learn more about how to get involved!

I can’t say enough about how exciting it is to be building a new center for innovation in Central New York. A physical address that will embody the very spirit of inclusion and creativity that have been the cornerstones of our community since its founding. To realize that vision, we have benefited from remarkable public sector support to help us build this new facility. Governor Hochul, our Assembly and Senate delegation, our County Executive and Mayor. This project cannot happen without them. In the true spirit of partnership, however, it is private sector leadership that has placed our innovation ecosystem front and center in our regional economic growth strategy and has funded programs and annual operating deficits for more than 15 years. Because it’s worth investing in. Partners like Northland Communications Company and National Grid have helped to lead that way and we are deeply indebted to them for their generosity and commitment to these goals. As CenterState CEO undertakes the largest physical redevelopment in its history, all hands are on deck to program this building as the the single best incubator and accelerator in the world. Ambitious? Perhaps. But why think small when the moment calls for thinking big? To our private sector partners, we need your help. Successful economies start more companies than they lose. They invest in their most promising startups. And they welcome people of all backgrounds with all sorts of ideas and work tirelessly to mentor entrepreneurs and support success. We have some big plans that I think you are going to want to be a part of…..
We are happy to announce Northland Communications Company is the exclusive connectivity provider of dedicated internet for CenterState CEO's The Tech Garden and is the naming sponsor of The Tech Garden’s theater. Northland Communications Theater is the first newly named space within The Tech Garden's soon to be expanded building at 235 Harrison Street. Our tenants, members, and visitors appreciate the internet connectivity provided each day in The Tech Garden courtesy of Northland Communications. In a world where major events captivate millions, it's time to ask: Are we truly including everyone? From the Super Bowl to global conferences, the essence of shared experiences is often lost for those on the sidelines. Accessibility isn't just a checkbox; it's the heart of inclusion. With the technology we have, there's no excuse. Let's demand action from event organizers, performers, and broadcasters to ensure that every event is a universal experience. Because everyone deserves to be part of the story. #InclusiveEvents #AccessibilityForAll #DemandChange #UniversalExperience #EventInclusion #MakeEventsAccessible

The Six-Star Experience Guy. CEO + Co-Founder of @TodayTix Group sharing insights on the demand-tech, data and scale of IRL cultural experiences.
The pandemic left entertainment in the shadows, but we never doubted its comeback. Why? Because humans are hardwired for shared, cultural experiences. As we rebuild our cities in a post-COVID world, culture isn't just an accessory; it's the heartbeat. When venues flourish and theaters are full, communities grow stronger. Now, our mission is amplified: championing the arts and its unmatched power to connect us. We're honored to be part of this renaissance and journey. Embrace the arts. Experience something fresh this week. In a rapidly shifting world, culture will illuminate a worthy path.

Thought Architect. Specialist in Creativity, Innovation, Ethical Marketing, Branding, Social Impact Strategy. Public Speaker. My 3 agencies: My Social Impact / Creative Orchestra / CONNECT2
> LONDON BOROUGH OF CULTURE. Well done Wandsworth for winning the 2025 bid - without doubt, London's most dedicated borough for creativity & culture. But proud to have contributed to the Haringey bid - Borough of culture for 2027. The "Rebel Borough!" (Yet to work that slogan out.) The social impact work we have done through London Community Arts CIC has been a valuable contribution (it also tipped that balance and got Crouch End voted as the 'Best Place to Live in London'). The Crouch End Festival (one of London's biggest community arts festivals), Crouch End Literary Festival, running accessible venues like The Intimate Space, live music clubs like üF-Beat and topical events around Easter, Halloween and Christmas have all been part of our borough bid. Not to mention work in schools. LCA's ethos has always been to make things free to make it accessible to all. And to be 100% inclusive. To cultivate creativity. Embrace culture. Engage communities. Be open to all performers, without judgement. To build confidence and provide a safe, non-judgemental platform to perform. Never to pander to socio-political agendas or pressure, and avoid tick-box-tokenism. To cultivate grassroots activities across the whole area. There are lots of people who talk a good story about 'community engagement' and 'social impact strategy' but how many have real hands-on experience? SOCIAL IMPACT STRATEGY - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IN 60 MINUTES I am delivering a powerful, informative and fascinating 60-minute talk to companies on Social Impact. It tells you all you need to know in 60 minutes. It will open your eyes and give you a new lens to see things through. Based on real experience. Nobody does anything like this. As social impact campaigns are a growing trend, isn't it better to know what resonates with consumers, communities and creates a positive impact upon society? Or you could just blag it? Get it wrong and the damage to the brand can take years to fix. George Kekatos, Senior Cultural Strategist, took part in the Public Policy Exchange webinar 'Promoting the Cultural and Creative Industries' yesterday, bringing together policy makers, cultural leaders, strategists and academics to discuss the role of #culture, the #creativeindustries and #placemaking in delivering #socialvalue for communities. Read his post below to find out more about Futurecity's 'Gallery Without Walls' approach to culture-led collaboration and partnerships and its transformative power for cities. #GalleryWithoutWalls #culturalplacemaking #PublicPolicyExchange #policymakers #culturalcity #Futurecity
It was a pleasure to contribute to yesterday's webinar, 'Promoting the Cultural and Creative Industries', organised by the Public Policy Exchange. An honour to be talking amongst such an esteemed and interesting panel, Michele Gregson FRSA of National Society for Education in Art and Design (NSEAD), Tarek E. Virani of University of the West of England, Glyndwr Jones and Emily Maloney of CDMT - confirming quality in Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre and Deborah Annetts of the Independent Society of Musicians. Talking about a 'Gallery without Walls' and the power of #culture and the #creativeindustries within our Cities – I gave examples of different scales and areas, through our projects at Futurecity, of how we can enable cross-sector collaboration and create #socialvalue for communities. Using the arts & culture and #placemaking as a key, we can ensure a slow but steady change in the norms and bring original ideas and genuinely transformative experiences in our cities.
