Meet Tony Otieno and Braxton Lumbasi, the first alumni of our program. We met Tonny and Braxton while they were in their second year of high school. Their passion for coding and technology was evident from the start, and their dedication throughout their learning journey has been truly inspiring. After high school, we supported them in applying to Tunapanda Institute, where they delved deeper into Tech Design and Business. In just six weeks, they graduated from Tunapanda, equipped with valuable skills for their future. Today, we are thrilled to share that Tonny and Braxton have been awarded the PLP Software Development Scholarship by the Power Learn Project. As part of our commitment to their continued success, Code With Kids will be providing them with laptops to support their ongoing learning journey. These laptops were generously donated to Code With Kids by CodeDay. CodeDay is a non-profit providing welcoming, hands-on opportunities for under-served students to explore a future in tech and beyond. Congratulations to Tonny and Braxton!
