🎯TikTok tips for content creators🎯 As an influencer marketing manager and talent agent, I wear a lot of hats. This allows me to truly understand social media alghoritms, how virality works, and allows me to help creators turn themselves into brands. TikTok is an interesting place, and definitely one where brands are going to invest much more time, energy, and money in the coming year, especially with the development of TikTok shop. So influencers and content creators, this one is for you. #1 When it comes to TikTok, there's no need to reinvent the wheel. Originality isn't the key to success on TikTok, and there's no hidden formula. If you come across a video that has gone viral, don't hesitate to recreate it. Chances are, it could go viral again. So, when a TikTok creator comes up with something, it often becomes a trend as others recreate it, leading to renewed virality. Don't be afraid to recreate with your own twist - this is KEY. #2 The second tip, which many people may not be aware of, is that actually the viral video is not going to be the one driving majority of the sales. It’s the follow up videos that drive the true conversions. Therefore, your goal should be to create a viral video to generate as many views and increase top-of-the-funnel brand awareness. However, the actual sales tend to come from videos two, three, or four right after that. Once you have that initial viral video, use subsequent videos to respond to questions and comments from the original viral video. These are the videos where you should focus on promoting and selling your products or services. Crafting a Social Media Strategy, #ContentMarketing When it comes to content marketing, there are several types of content to consider, such as user-generated content (UGC) and influencer campaigns, both of which are trending lately and more companies tend to lean into an influencer campaign for some reason. Influencer campaigns are effective for creating awareness and potentially generating leads. But, UGC tends to work better on a closer, more personal level. I look at it as, it highly depends on who you are selling to. Users often identify more authentically through the lens of another user, as opposed to an influencer whose lifestyle might be aspirational but not necessarily relatable. Therefore, it's important to choose your content strategy wisely. An influencer might not always be what or who you need. Considering the context and objectives of your campaign to determine the most suitable approach, I believe, is good advice.

Being an Influencer sounds like a Dream Life for the majority of people. Influencers seem to get all the PR boxes, always be on vacation, get invitations to brand events, trips, and more. No wonder millions of people try their luck with becoming an Influencer on one or multiple social media platforms. Everyone wants to live a careless life full of luxuries in exchange for some pictures and videos. But being an influencer or content creator is not like that. I remember back when I was starting with my social media journey, a little over 9 years ago. I was sure that once I start making brand deals and collaborate with some big names I will start making some real money — exactly the same thinking as influencers (or rather — content creators) want you to believe to be true. I quickly realised that brand deals and “influencing” has a short shelf-life and is absolutely impossible to keep up as a business model. This small change of perception allowed me to become a full-time content creator with as little as 10.000 subscribers. How?
