Truemed is for merchants and customers who believe there is a better way. Right now, kids are being poisoned at scale (70% of their diet is ultraprocessed food). Children are so sedentary that only 20% of 21-year-olds are eligible to join the military based on fitness requirements. Medical leaders tell us that changing these dynamics is too hard. That the best we can do is prescribe kids metformin, statins, Adderall, and anti-depressants. The prescription rates of those drugs have doubled among teens. Now, the American Academy of Pediatrics says 50% of American teens should be prescribed Ozempic (a lifetime drug) as a first-line defense against obesity. We are literally poisoning kids and then drugging them for life - a dynamic that props up the largest and fastest-growing industry in the country (healthcare). Our medical leaders are telling us our current path is inevitable: that chronic diseases are going to continue rising and the best we can do is drug people to manage them. The better way is simple: incentivizing root cause items. This is possible. Americans don't want to be sick - but incentives are stacked against them. If we steer medical dollars to items like Peloton Interactive, CrossFit, Momentous, Athletic Greens, Mito Red Light, Inc and hundreds of other leading companies at the FRONT LINES of health, we'll be healthier. That's what we are doing at Truemed.

Calley - excellent comments/you should be running the NIH or FDA .. sadly/captured health agencies promoting the likes of Ozempic to our highly sick nation (injecting 50% of US Children!!??) are failing to emphasize adopting simple and effective healthful alternative lifestyles and eating habits - I am ordering your book - keep on sharing your insights. Thank you!
