Position: General Manager with strong Sales and Marketing background
Location: Dubai Festival City Mall
Requirements
Must be Dubai based and ready for face-to-face interview
Minimum five years’ experience in S&M function in a restaurant/hotel or similar service oriented organization including three years as a DOSM.
Minimum five years of UAE experience is required.
Functions
To be fully responsible for the Family Amusement Park and the Restaurant activities to the required standards, within agreed budgetary limits.
Responsibilities
· Strong leadership skills and “hands on” attitude.
· Direct and supervise all sales and marketing activities of the Park, including evet sales, public relations, and ensure that all activities are focused on achieving maximum revenue.
· Be directly responsible for search and analysis of the target audience.
· Be responsible for product development and market promotion.
· Ensure cost efficiency.
· Develop and implement Marketing campaign.
· Ensure a competitive position of the Park and Restaurant in the market and focus on growing revenues.
· Full P&L accountability for the Park (monitor key indicators such as food cost, beverage cost, personnel cost, GOP, Target GOP and take actions if needed). Budgeting and forecasting.
· Strategic planning, human resources modeling to ensure high level of service.
· Contract negotiation, service vendors and other contractors to obtain agreements that are beneficial for the property.
· To communicate with Authorities, Mall management and Municipality representatives when necessary to ensure flawless and legitimate operation.
· To be fully aware of trends in the industry and make suggestions for improvement of the Restaurant and Park operation.
· Provide recommendation to increase Food and Beverage penetration in total Park revenue.
· Coordinating the activities of the Sales Team, to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Sales.
· Proactively prospecting new accounts for the Park and following the sales process through to convert into ‘producing’ accounts.
Special requirements:
Branding and Positioning
Integrate company policy internally and find contractors to build the brand image among B2B and B2C target audiences.
Position the park effectively in the market, differentiating it from competitors and highlighting its unique attractions and experiences.
Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
Oversee the development and maintenance of the park's website, Instagram, etc. ensuring it is user-friendly, informative, and optimized for search engines.
Define all the required online communication channels and make it work properly.
Implement a robust digital marketing strategy, including social media marketing, email campaigns, and online advertising to reach a broader audience.
