Chair & CEO of Milo's Tea Company, Inc.

Be Present. This picture came up on my iPad memories tab today. It's from 2017. My son was 11 and my daughter was 9 and this #ProudCEO took her family to in India to tour the tea estates where we sourced tea and then have a family vacation (hence, the Taj Mahal visit). Right now, my son just finished his freshman year in college and my daughter just completed her high school junior year. ⏲ It is absolutely mind boggling how fast the days in between went. I am sharing this as a talisman for those of you complaining about carpool, coaching soccer, and deciding what to cook for family dinner. The days really are long, and the years really are short. Hug them tight and enjoy the journey - especially on the tough days. ❤️ #ProudCEO #DrinkMilos #BrewingALegacy

Great reminder, I read this while mixing a Milo’s unsweet tea 20 oz bottle with a 20 oz Milo’s lemonade I purchased at Meijer. I love your products and your story keep up the hard work.

I love this. Sometimes we can get caught up in our work and business and totally forget the reason we work so hard. I am sure your kids will remember trips like this and cherish them for the rest of their lives. When I was young my grandpa took me and my brothers to Disney World and to the beach at North Redington Beach, Florida. I still take my family to these places because of the good times I remember having their with my grandma and grandpa. When I am there it is almost like they are with me again.

Parenting is certainly a labor of love. Like so many challenges in our personal life and vocation, when you look back on them, they made us better and gave us an opportunity to contribute value.

Time certainly does fly. You nailed it 🎯; be present and spend that quality time with your kids because it goes fast, Tricia. I remember a team member in my family business telling me when my son was born (1st child - 24 now). "Time will go by quickly; try to enjoy every moment." (My daughter starts college next year).

Literally need to remind ourselves of this morning, noon and night. Time, the thing we can never get back and the thing we yearn for most!

So true! Time has a way of just flying by, so it's important to enjoy the moments we have together with family and friends.

I use a quote attributed to Marcus Aurelius as a reminder of similar sentiments: "Time is a sort of river of passing events, and strong is its current; no sooner is a thing brought to sight than it is swept by and another takes its place, and this too will be swept away." Hold on tight to those sights and those moments.

Thank you for this reminder. My babies are currently this age. Time to stop and smell the flowers. ❤️
