This is a great topic Traci Fiatte Thomas. As a technology leader, I have been reluctant to jump on the AI train, because the train has been on the tracks for many years. That said, the power of AI is no longer restrained by the data limitations that limited its use in some of the most practical applications. Sure, quality of data still plays a very important role. However, the broadened use of GenAI has opened the doors for common users to find immediate value leveraging the endless supply of unstructured data available in public and private domains. It reminds me of the early 90s when the Internet became commonly accessible. It took a couple of years before its real potential registered with the common user, then it caught fire. I still think the real AI revolution is in front of us, and the recent advancements in GenAI will play a big role in igniting the fire.
Think you hit a nerve Traci, my repost turned into an essay before I knew it was happening 😅
Funny you should ask. I just posted about this two days ago. AI has had a huge impact on my work process over the last year. I can write something for about 1/3 the cost of what it used to take me. Attaching the image from the post.
