1moThank you all for the kind comments! It is always a very humbling experience to be nominated for an award especially if it is so close to your values and beliefs! I have been mentoring for over 20 years and never looked back. Throughout the years mentees have become friends, fellow directors and even clients! Which make me feel very old! 😂 Following my mantra “Push the circle wider”, I have set-up mentoring programmes at tp bennett and worked with many organisations: Real Estate Balance , Women in Property , Urban Land Institute, The London School of Architecture , University of Westminster , University of East London, Mentoring Circle and Women in Architecture UK... and I should be used to it, but each time there is still the trill of meeting somebody new, wondering if I will I be helpful enough to make a difference. What I have learned throughout the years, is that the mentor-mentee relationship is only successful if the will to grow and become better comes from both sides. Do I have time for all of this? Not really, but it is always worth every second! ❤️
