Want to learn more about systems thinking?
that feeling when everything you've been working on has been leading up to this point? that is how i feel about announcing the 8 month systems leadership program that i will be hosting in partnership with Dana Shen this year. at the systems school we've been working with clients on systemic change, designing and deliverying courses on systems thinking, and hosting communities of practice for some time. but joining up with dana has been the best complement to all of this. she completes the offerings by bringing her meditation practice and insights from work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and wisdom from her own Ngarrindjeri community. this is going to be an incredible journey. we cannot wait to share this with you 💫 join us on february 6th(australaisa)/february 5th (america's) for our launch and information session as we introduce the program which starts march 2024. register for the info session here https://lnkd.in/g6hKWEVJ and read more about the program here https://lnkd.in/gm_m2jNw

Last week in New York City, this program was described as worthy of a Tony Award for both content and delivery. Many other executive leaders in Manhattan agreed it was hands-down, the absolute best they have seen in more than a decade of Vistage Worldwide, Inc. presentations. High praise indeed from the city so big they had to name it twice and this week BIG LITTLE LEGENDS will attempt to keep that Empire State of Mind momentum rolling in Canada’s wild west. Calgary, Alberta is where you will find a number of top-notch TEC Canada groups, including those guided by stellar chairs such as Razina Visram, MBA,CPA,PMP,PCC and Mauro Meneghetti who help their members see around business corners many will miss. Looking forward to visiting those Peer Advisory groups Tuesday and Wednesday of this week and inspiring some of Sothern Alberta’s finest business leaders create their own undeniable, undisputed and magnetically irresistible "Category of One". And to top it all off there is an Exclusive Executive dinner on Thursday, March 21st at the prestigious Calgary Petroleum Club. Hosted by TEC Canada chairs Deb Milimaka Miles and Ralph Hesje, it promises to be a candid and frank conversation on how brand legends are created in this modern age and what this counterintuitive strategy demands from business leaders today. Seating is limited. In designing LEAP, we reached out to leading CEOs from sport organisations across NZ, seeking their best leadership advice. Their insights were so valuable, we've decided to share them in this series: 1. "It’s a bloody lonely job - more than you expect. Get a great support team around you." 2. "The rubber band theory - you will get stretched every day. The key to survival is making sure you release the tension regularly. A rubber band constantly under strain will break." 3. "Have fun - ensure you take some enjoyment out what you are achieving. We tell our team to have fun - we also need to walk the talk!" Learn about leadership from real leaders making a difference through sport in New Zealand every day. LEAP combines practical sessions with an impressive network of experts delivering bespoke content that is backed up with ongoing support and mentoring. Take the LEAP in 2024! Exploring the charming canals and vibrant streets of Amsterdam has been an incredible journey that perfectly mirrors the leadership path. 🌆🚲 Just as the city's intricate waterways guide boats, leadership coaching navigates individuals towards their full potential. 🌟 Amsterdam's rich history and diverse culture remind me that, like coaching, effective leadership embraces different perspectives and values uniqueness. 🌷💼 Walking through the bustling markets and engaging with locals, I've learned that leadership is about connection and understanding, much like building relationships with my clients. As a leadership coach, I've witnessed growth and transformation in others, much like the blossoming tulips that decorate this city. 🌹🌼 Just as Amsterdam's beauty lies in its details, true leadership flourishes when we pay attention to the small, meaningful moments that shape our journeys. So here's to Amsterdam – a city that reflects the essence of leadership: navigating uncharted waters, embracing diversity, and finding beauty in every step of the journey. 🌍🔍 #LeadershipInAmsterdam #CoachingJourney #EmbraceThePath
