International Women in Engineering Day is today, and this year's theme is #Enhancedbyengineering. We celebrate the women engineers who enhance the engineering field and encourage more to join. According to the Society of Women Engineers, women professionals in engineering and architecture had grown to 16.7% by 2023. That is a 7.7% growth from the 1990s, when women had 9% of the representation. We are optimistic about the growth in the past three decades but acknowledge that there is still work to be done. We will continue encouraging women to join the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields and celebrate them for their accomplishments.
