Looking for a highly motivated M&A Business Developer UK & Ireland As an M&A Business Developer, you will contribute to the pre-acquisition business activities in order to grow our company portfolio. You will represent the first contact in the M&A acquisition process: You find and reach out to companies in the software sector. You will search, identify, and contact valuable M&A prospects (who have built an attractive business) to increase the M&A pipeline for the long term. You have the opportunity to converse with experienced entrepreneurs, and you will deepen your knowledge of the (M&A) business in different markets and cultures. Activities will include initiating contact (via email, phone/video call, or otherwise) with potential targets, as well as supporting target account management in order to ensure the market is sufficiently covered. Together with your M&A team members, you will map and analyse the vertical market software sectors in the UK and Ireland. In close cooperation with the Business Development Director (and the executive who will be responsible for the target company after acquisition), you will build relationships with the prospects.
