In Zoom meetings, participants can either be in the Waiting Room or an active participant. Active participants can chat, and speak during the call. The ones in the Waiting Room can do none of that until the host admits them into the meeting. You can even send specific attendees back into the Waiting Room if the host accidentally admitted someone and needs to send them back out. Creating an "always available" meeting in Zoom You might want to schedule a "one-click" Zoom meeting for a specific client, so you have one link that you can send out to your attendees each time you meet. To create a recurring meeting with no fixed time: 1) Click on "Meetings" from your Zoom page 2) Click "schedule a new meeting" 3) Enter the information for the meeting as usual 4) Select "Recurring Meeting" then "No Fixed Time" in the recurrence drop-down menu Select the options you require, like muting participants on entry and then save the meeting. Click on "Meetings" again, select the meeting and choose "Copy Invitation". Then you can copy and paste the meeting details into your outgoing email when inviting attendees. Do you use Calendly? Did you know it has a meeting poll feature? 🤯 I stumbled across it in December trying to find a time for a group of friends to connect. It's so easy to use and I've heard it's easy to respond to as a participant. What I love most: 1. Just click to add a time option or click again to delete it 2. One-click to add Zoom since my Zoom is connected to Calendly already 3. It can keep the times blocked until a time is finalized 4. You can have it send updates via email 5. You can book it right from the email updates OR go back into Calendly 6. It sends out the invite with the Zoom info (if added) to everyone who participated 7. Once you finalize a time, it releases all the other times it had blocked for you Learn more:
