Women in Agriculture: Supporting Female-Headed Households with Communication Assets 👩🌾📱 There is the fact that female-headed households (FHHs) own fewer assets than male-headed households (MHHs), with a significant proportion of FHHs falling under the lower asset quantile. This can make it difficult for FHHs to access information about new technologies and markets. Women in Agriculture: Female-Headed Households with High-Yielding Practices 👩🌾🌱 Generally, female-headed households own and cultivate less land than male-headed households. This can make it difficult for females to produce enough food to feed their families and generate income. By using push-pull technology, as best agricultural practice, this challenge is addressed and there is an increasing number of females who are satisfied with the time and effort invested in the field compared to the level of the yield.
