But the challenge of climate change seems so large how can any single person do anything to help. How can any of us make a difference? What would you do? 1. I have a new resolution. For every social media post or any entry I create, on any digital platform, I will add a carbon footprint "tag" (until it is possible to have it on automatically). I will aim to assess the direct carbon emissions of the real activity it is about, as well as that of the entry itself (for often I just tweet/X thoughts). With the help of easily accessible and user-friendly AI tools the amounts can be estimated within a reasonable time, hopefully with an ever increasing accuracy. My aim is to show example and to contribute to steering the intertwined social (media) - environmental processes into a more positive direction. If I have the inclination to occasionally share high quality experiences with family, friends, colleagues, and even my more distant acquaintances, I should be honest about their costs to the planet. I challenge everyone to do the same. This post has cost the planet approximately a few grams to several tens of grams of CO2 (times three, because it will be on Facebook, former Twitter / X, and on LinkedIn).

Unpopular Opinion... Is this really the future that you're signing up for yourself and your kids? According to this AI article - Generation Alpha is gonna look like this. I stumbled upon this article that AI created describing the next generation as being digital natives to a whole other level. Makes sense. But what doesn't make sense is normalizing becoming completely detached and disassociated from the outside world. Climate change? WWIII? What kind of future are we imagining for the planet? One where the numbness of consumerism is so ingrained in our veins that it is the only reprieve left to escape reality? We're really running away from ourselves... To imagine a future where humans sustain life on this planet is to completely reimagine how the next 7 generations are gonna go. Living more intuitive with nature, investing into the sheer brilliance of humanity - intuition, intelligence, compassion. To double down on the super power of humanity to innovate and change. And embrace our own sacred courage to overcome any challenges. Originally, I was looking up the principle of "'the seven generations" which means to to make every decision with 7 future generations in mind. This naturally creates a sustainable life. What I found instead was an AI generated article covering the latest 7 generations of humanity. Funny how it was an AI generated article selling us on a future where technology takes us out of the moment, and even out of reality itself... For a profit.
