Scrolling LinkedIn today, I did a double-take! A video popped up of me from an RNLI callout – a blast from the past that reminded me of the two sides of my professional life. While I spend my days in the world of EV Charging, Designing and planning Electrical infrastructure, for nearly 13 years, I've also volunteered my time with the RNLI.
Do you know the five-letter word that could save your life? Float. Float to Live until help arrives, day or night. When fishermen Dave and Brian fell into the water, they followed these crucial steps 👇 Remember it. Share it. #FloatToLive - Tilt your head back with ears submerged. - Relax and try to control your breathing. - Move your hands to help you stay afloat. - Once over the initial shock, call for help or swim to safety. - In an emergency, call 999 or 112 and ask for the coastguard.

1moFab Tom. Very admirable volunteering for such a brilliant charity (that shouldn’t be a charity) 👍
