Pastored over 50 years, preached from age 13, taught Missions at Fruitland Bible College 40 years. Now! Preaching the Gospel. I also serve as Interim Pastor when God opens that door.
Note: This is not what I wanted to share today but I really felt lead to: I pray it might help someone. Sometimes you can’t live peaceably with some people. They’re ill-tempered and don’t want to get along with anyone, including you. That is why the Bible says, “Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone” (Romans 12:18). Notice the phrase “do all that you can.” That means we should make the effort. Jesus said, “So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled with that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God” (Matthew 5:23–24). For instance, let’s say that someone has wronged you and you’re angry about it. You’re at church worshipping, but you can’t stop thinking about what they did to you. Something is wrong. It’s hindering your prayer life. It’s hindering your worship. It is grieving the Holy Spirit in your life. You need to go to that person and try to resolve the conflict. It may be just a misunderstanding. Maybe you say, “The other day you made this comment, and this is the way I took it. Is that how you meant it?” “Of course not!” they might reply. “The last thing I want to do is offend you!” On the other hand, they might tell you that is exactly what they meant and then say something even worse to offend you. What do you do then? You’ve done what you were supposed to do. If they don’t want to reconcile with you, then it has become their problem. Put it into the hands of God and pray for them. If they want to stay mad at you, then let it go. When you’ve made the effort, when you’ve tried to reconcile, you can know that you’ve done your part. Now there are areas here where church discipline is needed but I am not dealing with that aspect here. Now you can come before God with a clean conscience if you have done your part. There are so many problems that develop in life and yes in church life that could be stopped if people would just stop, talk to the one with problem and listen to them and discuss it and pray together about it. Think about it, you will be glad you did.

He backloads works into the gospel by saying it's faith that works. Mixing law and grace is like nails on a chalkboard. All works based salvation doesn't work because it's impossible to repent of your sins to be saved and to work for your salvation. So it just becomes about legalism and apostasy. TOUNGUE CONTROLL AS CHRISTIANS Hebrews 13:5/James 3:8/Philippians 4:13/ DEDICATE your heart, mind,&TONGUE to the Lord, daily Hebrews 13:5 says,Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise the fruit of LIPS that openly profess his name, When we choose praise, we “sacrifice”slander, gossip, fear-based words,& the LANGUAGE of hell. TONGUE can destroy your future, tongue can separate you from GOD and good friendship, seperate you from good education, make you lose wisdom. And become like you never went to ANY GOOD SCHOOL you think of. James 3:8.Only by the grace of God in your life can you seek to control your speech.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” Philippians 4:3 A TONGUE under CONTROL is evidence of spiritual maturity, and if a believer's tongue is controlled by the Holy Spirit then every other aspect of his life will be under the Spirit's control,The tongue is a comparatively small part of the human body but it has GREAT POWER. LIKEWISE the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts.Have done this, that, have achieved this that, eventually you see other people as you objects. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark of fire. THE TONGUE also is a fire by itself,a world of evil among the parts of the body. Let the tongue remain useful to it's five uses below, It is involved and useful in licking, tasting, breathing, swallowing, and speaking. The papillae present on the tongue gives it a rough texture. TODAY DO YOU FEEL THAT YOUR TONGUE HAS DESTROYED YOUR MANY RELATIONSHIP ESPECIALLY WITH GOD, AND YOU NEED TO SURRENDER YOUR NEW LIFE TO JESUS CHRIST?? WAYS TO RECEIVE GOD'S BLESSINGS **Introduction:** Receiving God's blessings is a profound aspect of faith and spirituality. Many seek to understand how to invite and receive these blessings into their lives. The Bible offers guidance on various ways to open our hearts to God's abundant blessings. This lesson explores some of these ways, supported by relevant verses and examples. **Ways to Receive God's Blessing:** 1. **Seek God First:** Prioritize your relationship with God above all else. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus says, "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." When we seek God's presence and guidance, blessings often follow. 2. **Prayer:** Prayer is a powerful means of communication with God. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Expressing our needs and gratitude in prayer invites God's blessings into our lives. 3. **Faith and Belief:** Hebrews 11:6 reminds us, Trusting in God's promises and having faith in His goodness opens the door to His blessings. 4. **Obedience to God's Word:** Following God's commandments and living a righteous life is a path to blessings. Psalm 119:1 5. **Generosity:** Proverbs 11:25 6. **Gratitude:** Cultivating a heart of gratitude leads to blessings. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 7. **Forgiveness:** Forgiving others as God forgives us is essential. Matthew 6:14-15 8. **Acts of Kindness:** Acts of kindness and compassion reflect God's love. Luke 6:38 says, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Blessings often multiply when we extend kindness to others. 9. **Fellowship and Worship:** Engaging in regular fellowship with believers and worshiping God strengthens our faith and connection with Him. Psalm 22:3 tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people. In community and worship, we find God's blessings. 10. **Serving Others:** Jesus exemplified servanthood, and in Matthew 25:40, He says, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Serving others selflessly aligns us with God's heart and invites His blessings. **Conclusion:** Receiving God's blessings involves seeking Him, trusting in His promises, and living in accordance with His teachings. By nurturing a deep relationship with God through prayer, faith, and obedience, and by extending love, kindness, and forgiveness to others, we create a fertile ground for God's blessings to flourish in our lives. May these lessons guide us on our journey to receive the abundant blessings that God graciously bestows upon those who seek Him and live according to His will.

Daily Blessings March 10 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ—for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.” - Rom 1:16 What is meant by the word “power?” It is a term much used in the New Testament. “The kingdom of God,” it is declared, “is not in word, but in power;” and true faith is said to “stand not in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” What, then, is power? It is a divine operation that God himself puts forth in the soul. It cannot be described by words, nor explained so as to be understood by our mental capacity. It must be felt to be known; and must be realized in a man’s own soul before he can have any spiritual conception of it. “Your people,” we read, “shall be made willing in the day of your power.” And when the gospel does come to the soul by the application of the blessed Spirit, and a divine power accompanies it, though the power itself cannot be described even by the person himself, it is made known by the effects which follow it. For instance, here is a poor wretch condemned by the law, and in his apprehensions lying forever under its fearful curse. He may, perhaps, see there is salvation in Christ, and know in his judgment there is salvation in no other; but he cannot lay hold of Christ, nor get from under the condemnation he feels. Why? Because the gospel is not made the power of God unto salvation to his soul. But how he begs, cries, prays, and supplicates God to have mercy on him. Continually he is endeavoring to seek God, and beseech him to have mercy on his soul. But he cannot get peace to his conscience; he is still in trouble and distress, bowed down with bondage, guilt, and fear. Here is a man longing for “power.” Now, when the Lord is pleased to apply some portion of his blessed word to his soul, or to speak home some particular promise, the power which accompanies this raises up a special faith, whereby that portion of God’s holy word, which speaks of Christ, or that particular promise is laid hold of. Here, then, is “power” communicated with the gospel. The gospel has now come to him, “not in word only,” as it might often have done before, leaving him all the while in guilt and fear, but with “power;” and, by the faith thus raised up, he believes in Jesus to the saving of his soul. He could not believe in him before, for his faith, such as it was, being devoid of power, left him where it found him, as forlorn and helpless as the man who fell among thieves. No. He might as well attempt to create a world, as to believe in the Son of God unto deliverance. But no sooner does he believe what the Holy Spirit applies, than a sweet and sacred power comes into his soul, which takes away his doubts and fears; dispels guilt from his conscience; banishes the mists and fogs that for months have hung over his soul; reveals in him a precious Jesus; makes the promises of the gospel to glitter before his eyes like dew-drops in autumn; and gives him an unspeakable
