How NOT to lose $10k on ads for your Shopify store! If you want to maximize ROI, avoid these 5 mistakes: #1 Low-effort site Consumers already know what Shopify is, and they can spot a site you only spent 5 minutes on from miles away. If it looks like a scam, NO ONE will buy. #2 Expecting everyone to convert on the 1st visit. On average, it takes ~6-8 touches to acquire a new customer. Though controversial, discount popups can help you capture emails and make the most of each ad click. #3 Assuming everyone will only buy 1 product. If someone trusts you enough to buy 1, there's a chance they might buy 2. Upsells and bundles are the most straightforward ways to encourage higher AOV. #4 Slow site If your page takes > 3 seconds to load, potential buyers are going to bounce. Remove unnecessary apps and scripts, which, if not optimized, can severely bloat loading times. #5 Not being patient Marketing takes time. Whether you're running ads or focusing on organic, if you get hasty and end your campaigns before they have a chance to break even, you're guaranteeing negative ROI. Another strong month for our client! When we started working with this new company 8 months ago, their total sales on Shopify barely reached $100k per month, and spending $200 daily on ads was a big deal for them. Fast forward 8 months, and we’ve hit over $400k in ad revenue, with total Shopify sales exceeding $560k! That's more than 450% growth in just 8 months! Of course, not everything came easily. We spent hundreds of hours perfecting the website and overall marketing strategies. For the EOFY sale, we dedicated numerous hours to meetings to refine marketing strategies, project total stock needed, and plan post-EOFY strategies to ensure everything ran smoothly. Despite our hard work, I got the red light from the client to stop scaling the budget on the last day and that's because sales went better than expected and we almost sold out everything 😂 I am very grateful to work with this client, as the business owner is very open to testing new strategies. We noticed that the abandoned cart rate was a bit high towards the end of the sale, and I proposed a new abandoned cart campaign, which the owner approved without hesitation. The result? A 57x ROAS on that campaign alone! Here's to continued success and growth! #digitalmarketing #metaads #googleads #sem #smm #eofy

If you struggle to interpret Google Shopping cost per conversion, here's a simplified version of how to use this metric to understand the health of your campaign and how it relates to your online store ⬇️ #googleads #googleshopping

What Google Shopping campaign cost per conversion reveals about the ads you are running for your online store👇👇👇 This is a metric I measure for every client to ensure the profitability of their ads. Cost per conversion in Google Shopping is a measure of how much it costs to get someone to buy something after clicking on your ad. Here's what it tells you: ✅ How Well Your Ads Work: If the cost to get someone to buy after clicking your ad is low, it means your ads are working efficiently. You're spending less to make a store sale! ✅ Whether You're Making Money: Lower cost per conversion usually means you're making more money from each sale compared to what you spent on ads. It's like getting a good deal where you make more money than what you put in. ✅ Where to Improve: If the cost per conversion is high, it might mean your ads or store pages need some tweaks. It could be the wording, who you're showing the ads to, the products you're promoting, or even how compelling your product pages are! ✅How Much Bang for Your Buck: Check if the money you're spending on ads is bringing in more money for your business. A lower cost per conversion often means you're getting more value for every dollar spent. Keeping a close eye on cost per conversion in Google Shopping helps you understand if your ads are bringing in sales efficiently, making money for your online store, and where you might need to make changes for better results. 🎈 How often do you track your cost per conversion? Do you compare these values at an ad group level? ------- 🙋🏻♀️ I'm Clarice! Shopify Brands Need Smart Traffic, Not Just More Traffic Here’s a slice of reality: No amount of traffic can force a purchase. Why? Because: 1) People buy when they're ready. This is often influenced by things like discounts, scarcity, etc. But they have to be in the market to buy. 2) Our brains are like super-efficient filters, constantly sifting through information overload. As a brand, your mission is to imprint your name in customers' memory. So when they're ready to buy, it’s YOU they think of first. Search engines are where this battle is won because... EVERYONE searches with intent. This is why it's important to develop your site into a comprehensive resource for your niche. Answer all relevant questions about your niche. The goal? To embed your brand in the customer's mind. It just so happens that becoming a comprehensive resource is also favorable in Google's algorithm's eyes too! #seo #ecommerce #ecommerceseo #shopify #shopifyseo
