They defined SIMOPS as "Two or more independent operations (such as drilling, work-over, wireline, facilities construction, etc) conducted under common operational control in which the activities of any one operation may impact the safety of personnel, equipment and/or the environment of the other(s)." Great acquisition by Exxon of Pioneer, the premier Permian player in terms of volume and low costs. In this October's Energy Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) Monthly Operator Meeting staff reminded operators about ensuring their well statuses are reflecting accurate statuses. In particular, ECMC was concerned about wells with the following statuses: "DG" Drilling= Actively Drilling "SO" Suspended Operations = Drilled, not yet to TD "WO" Waiting on Completion = Drilled to Total Depth, Waiting on Completion Please let Vanoco Consulting know if you might need any assistance analyzing your well statuses by running an audit report and/or revising Form 7 reporting for well statuses that need updating.
