I am so grateful for the #KiwiTech team and the global entrepreneurs for sharing their best practices, best ideas, and being open minded enough to accept constructive feedback from both Edna A. & I. I firmly believe that everyone left with more ideas, inspiration, and better connections than before we all came. The businesses and entrepreneurs that came are but a small sub-sample of the #GreenEconomy & #OrangeEconomy that the near and long run economic future is lead by.
Remember #EntrepreneurshipIsKey. Entrepreneurship is essential to economic growth and development, particularly in developing and emerging economies. When an entrepreneur launches an exciting new venture and puts in the hard work and effort to create a new business, it’s not only personally gratifying, but promising for the local community and economy. We know some of the factors that drive economic growth overall, but how does entrepreneurship specifically help facilitate these moving parts in the economy?
Essentially, without entrepreneurship, the economic landscape would not be the same one we live in today. Simple pleasures we enjoy each morning, like having our pick between a few of our favorite local cafes and coffee shops, would not be possible without the efforts of entrepreneurs. The process by which entrepreneurs stimulate the economy is known as Entrepreneurship-led Economic Development (ELED). #Entrepreneurship drives economic growth by creating jobs, enhancing productivity, strengthening community, and spurring innovation.
I do have some resources and potential introductions for companies that are in the earlier stages of the #businesslifecycle , so please feel free to reach out to me and have a virtual coffee- I promise that I have as much to learn from you, and who knows- maybe we can create a mutually beneficial relationship based on reciprocity.
