I used Adobe Lightroom to edit the majority of my photos. It allows you to do so much with RAW files. Reasons why! 1. Professional Quality: Lightroom gives you all the tools you need to make your photos look like they were shot by a pro. Adjust lighting, colours, and details with precision. 2. Easy Organisation: With Lightroom, you can keep all your photos neatly organised. Say goodbye to endless scrolling through your camera roll! 3. Non-Destructive Editing: You can experiment as much as you want because Lightroom doesn’t mess with your original photo. You always have the original to fall back on. 4. Presets: Save time with presets! You can apply your favourite look to multiple photos in just one click. 5. Seamless Workflow: If you’re using other Adobe products, Lightroom fits right in, making your editing process smooth and efficient.

Edit Your Images! If you take and publish pictures without editing them first, that's a shame. Today's software packages are powerful enough to transform your work. Lightroom and Photoshop are probably the best known, but there are even free ones like Photodirector Essential that offer similar features. I edit 100% of my images in Lightroom. That almost always means a mixture of cropping, basic tonal adjustments, masking and judicious use of the Blue Primary Saturation slider in the Calibration panel. If you're worried about how long it might take or how hard it might be, I suggest you watch Anthony Morganti's introductory Lightroom course and go from there. That's what I did, and it helped me master the basics pretty quickly. Lightroom is a non-destructive editor, so you can always roll back any changes you make, and you can easily see the 'before' and 'after' versions (by pressing Y or backslash). That's a good way to see how much you've improved your photos. Once you've seen the difference, I'm sure you'll never stop editing your work...!
