It was a rewarding experience spending time with our friends from Minuteman Press Brookfield. Today, we put into action a year's worth of conversations on how shared language, strength-based approaches, and steward leadership influence our leadership culture. Taking to the water allowed us to bring these lessons to life. Thank you to Minuteman Press - Brookfield for choosing Full Sail Leadership Academy for your learning and development requirements.

I stepped away from Beta staff in September but in doing so made a commitment to be a great volunteer and continue to contribute to this critical mission. So, here we are at the Keystone Regional Leadership Conference where I am leading the Chapter President’s breakouts and providing an inspirational closing. Proud day (weekend) to be a Beta.

The role of leader can be challenging. Learning methods to lead others efficiently and effectively can save time, reduce turnover, minimize risk, and make organizations more productive. The UGA Executive Education Leaders Academy program focuses on the processes and principles that characterize excellence in leadership and how to successfully transition from individual contributor to leader.
We recently hosted the leadership team from Georgia EMC for a custom Leaders Academy. This program, was based on our popular open-enrollment Leaders Academy and tailor-made to Georgia EMC's specifications. Thank you to our talented instructors, Marty Parker, Mike Pfarrer, Laura Little, Stacy Campbell, and Onyedikachi Ekwerike, Ph.D.! We had a positively electric time working with this dynamic group of individuals and look forward to more successful programs in the future!

Driving change and creating high performing teams through the design and delivery of award winning interventions and coaching
Having been involved in many global leadership programmes, I’m often asked whether it’s possible to deliver both global reach and local relevance. It’s not just possible, it’s essential! But in our experience, there are certain obstacles that come up time and time again. Mike Straw has written about the risks and challenges of global leadership programmes, and how to negotiate them for success: https://lnkd.in/eaNgByNy

Leaving Well™️ normalizes workplace transitions. I provide advisor services and interim executive leadership for orgs ready to acknowledge the reality that People Leave™️.
Such a joy to join the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA Women's Leadership Resource Network to discuss one of my favorite things: values! My personal values are: Accountability, Courage, Ease, and Kindness, and my annual mission statement includes a statement or two about my values. It's really powerful to see how this mission statement changes each year. For 2024, it reads: 🔸 My purpose is to normalize the reality of workplace transitions, and support those who seek leaving well with intention and joy. 🔸 I lead with kindness, and believe in courage and accountability as needed steps in the staircase of change. 🔸 I enter spaces authentically, with welcoming, and possess fierce quiet power. 🔸 I will be known as someone who pushed the envelope, insisted on integrity, and showed up for impact. Each of us has the opportunity to 'operationalize' our values by choosing 1-2 small ways those values can live out in the open. If you think about the folks you most respect, it's very likely that the things you admire about them have a lot to do with their personal values. To learn more about values and to walk through an exercise to discover / implement yours: https://lnkd.in/e7SgCQdF
Yesterday, our Women’s Leadership Resource Network welcomed guest speaker Naomi Hattaway to our Coffee Break and Learn. Naomi is the Interim Executive Director at Dress for Success Tampa Bay. She shared with the group her unique journey through childhood to adulthood and how that shaped who she is as a leader today. She offered tools for leadership development and led the group through an exercise to discover our personal values and how to put them into a personal mission statement. Naomi, we are grateful for your time and sharing your story!
