We are Juvenilia - European Network of Young Opera Friends. July marks the beginning of our two-year mandate on the board of Juvenilia. I am honored to serve as President and to lead our European association into the future alongside our dedicated board members: Alessio Moretti, Italy (Vice President) Mirjam Mertel, Germany (Communications) Claire Cardinaletti, Italy (Event Coordinator) Guillermo Ortiz, Spain (Event Coordinator) Our mission is clear: to make Juvenilia a more inclusive platform, opening doors for more Under35s to explore and celebrate Europe’s rich cultural heritage. We believe in the power of opera to connect and inspire, and we are committed to creating opportunities for young people to discover and engage with this magnificent art form.
