Meet TIC’s newest electrical journeymen! Last week, 15 learners completed the company’s electrical Accelerated Journeyman Development Program (AJDP). Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, these employees mastered their technical skills and knowledge, training on their projects, remotely and at the company’s Training Center.
Many graduates praised the program for preparing them for their new roles, responsibilities and future advancement.
“AJDP is a great opportunity. I now have everything I need to get my journeyman’s license,” said Electrical Foreman Wilmer Caceres.
Electrical training is one of seven craft disciplines offered through the company’s AJDP program. Others include concrete, lineworker, ironworking, millwright, pipefitting and solar work. As the company continues to win work in the industrial and renewable energy markets, TIC leadership understands the program's value.
“The demand is exciting, but also challenging. We need talented and educated craft professionals. AJDP isn’t just about a job, but a rewarding career path. If you’re dedicated, the possibilities are endless.” — Area Manager Scott Anderson
Congratulations to the new graduates! Look out for these individuals on a job site near you.
