Imagine this: cement production emits up to 40 % less CO2 per tonne of cement 🌱 What seems impossible could become reality with polysius® activated clay. Clinker production and cooling account for 90% of the emissions from the cement manufacturing process, which is why the industry is striving to reduce the proportion of clinker in cement. With polysius® activated clay, this proportion can be reduced down to 50 %. 📉 And the first reference plants are already under construction. After the first plant in Cameroon, our customer CIMPOR Global Holdings awarded thyssenkrupp Polysius a contract for a second polysius® activated clay plant that is being built in Ghana.
