The best software engineers partner with their UI/UX designers. Here are 4 tips on how to partner: 1. Have monthly 1:1s with the UI/UX designers. 2. Ask how you can make them successful. 3. Educate them on what's hard or easy to change. 4. Do a spike or proof of concept on their craziest idea.

Start with one feature. I started working on a new project about two weeks ago, and this principle in mind has kept me on track to delivering a great result for the project. I've had multiple iterations in my design process and hours of calls with the client to ensure the design doesn't only look great, but is also functional. I can't wait to see this site go live🚀 PS: This principle was one among the many shared in the book refactoring UI. If you're a UI/UX designer and haven't read the book yet, you should have a dive into it. Trust me! #uiuxdesign #uiux

Which one looks better? Before or After? Comment below. History: The client hired us to solve some bugs on this site. The site was enormously slow and many features weren't working properly, also users were complaining that the site is not easy to use. After the initial inspection, we found the site was poorly built with 40+ plugins. Also, the site wasn't designed following proper user experience planning. After our final report, the customer hired our UI/UX designers and 4 Engineers from us. Our talented UI/UX designers designed this beautiful minimal UI and improved the entire user experience. Stay tuned! The entire case study coming soon!

I want to encourage to all new UI/UX Designer when build a design system is about “Documentation”. Clear documentation is essential for ensuring that everyone on the team understands how to use the design system effectively. Documentation should include guidelines for using each component, code snippets, design principles, and examples.

Was at work when this picture was taken... I didn't know why the photographer asked to take a picture of me. He asked me to smile at the camera, and because I just love to smile I did it anyway. 😊 Now this post isn't about smiling. No. It's about #networking The strategy with a ripple effect. ➡️ "someone told me you do___" ➡️ "my friend needs a ___ and you're the best person I could think of" ➡️ "we were at an event and you spoke about_, I want you to do___ for my company" The power of networking can never be overemphasized! It is such a powerful tool. Sometimes I like to call it an INVESTMENT tool because connecting with others can open up new opportunities and perspectives about you. Whether it's; ▪︎attending industry events ▪︎reaching out to professionals within and without LinkedIn, ▪︎or joining networking groups (online or offline communities), these things have a way of announcing you to a wider prospect. It is not enough to just have a list of contacts.👥 You need to make sure that these contacts know WHO YOU ARE and WHAT YOU DO. Why? 🔅For career opportunities 🔅Collaborations 🔅Or simply staying ahead of the curve. Just be KNOWN! Personally, I have always found that networking is the key to most of my opportunities. So, dear friend, please dedicate time to start shaking hands (or virtual handshakes) and make sure that, when people think of your field, they think of YOU. After all, it's not just about whom you know, but WHO KNOWS YOU. How has networking impacted your career? 💥 Please share in the comment section 💬⬇️ #networking #network #communication #personaldevelopment

Day 9 of #100daysofcode 1. Had a call with a UI/UX designer to discuss the client's expectations for the upcoming application development project. During our discussion, we outlined the key requirements and explored potential features that might need to be implemented. We also identified several "nice-to-have" features that could enhance the overall user experience. 2. I recently refreshed my knowledge on hooks and realized that much of what I knew theoretically, I hadn't yet implemented practically (well enough to be able to explain concepts in an interview situation). I spent the day deepening my understanding of React concepts, including React.memo, keys, wrapper components, useEffect and useState. I also explored how to use these hooks in combination to poll a backend every few seconds with a combination of the two hooks (though probably not optimal, its a start nonetheless). 3. Continued testing the rest of the functions from yesterday, turns out the issues only required minor tweaks to run as expected.
