I was very surprised in reading this report!!! Not reporting externally can be understood (fear of fine or reputation damage). But internally? It demonstrates a lack of trust and openness within organizations. 48% of cyber attacks unreported to appropriate external authorities 41% of cyber attacks unreported to internal leadership Main factors for not reporting were: 1️⃣ Fear of repercussion 2️⃣ Misunderstanding 3️⃣ Forgetfulness Build a cybersecurity resilience culture is key and not only investing in the latest technology trends, but also fostering a culture of open reporting and learning from incidents.
