The demand for payment privacy is not satisfied in our cashless society. Bitcoin became an investment instrument rather than a common daily payment routine, and centralized digital coins have become surveillance tools. With cash out of the way how can one dine in a restaurant without leaving footprints for his bank, his card company and his government to make a note of it? How do you buy a piece of Jewelry for a discreet gift, how do you solicit a sensitive legal advice without revealing your identity? How do you subscribe to a magazine without revealing your reading habits? Payment privacy is a universal need.
BitMint came up with a solution to monetize payment privacy. This is a call for prospective co-implementors. Gideon@BitMint.com
Google uses developers of 87 fraudulent #cryptoapps placed on Google Play
Yunfeng Sun (China) and Hongnam Cheung (Hong Kong) are accused of developing 87 applications downloaded by about 100 thousand users, including 8.7 thousand U.S. citizens.
The apps displayed false balances and requested 10% to 30% in withdrawals for #cryptoinvestments, some of which never arrived in users' accounts.

#Binance has placed #Firo and a bunch of other privacy coins including #Monero, #Zcash and #Mobilecoin under "Monitoring" status due to regulatory concerns on privacy coins. This has caused a lot of panic due to people interpreting this as Firo being in danger of being delisted.
However, we have been in active discussions with Binance since September, and our proposal of Exchange Addresses (set to go live in around 2 weeks) has thus far been met positively in satisfying their regulatory requirements. We have designed Exchange Addresses in such a way that it does not compromise on user privacy beyond what we have currently.
The core team expects this monitoring status to be removed at the next scheduled review for projects under monitoring(in April). By then Exchange Addresses would have gone live.
