Can any reader link to one of the best comparisons feature by feature comparing the offerings of Anthropic and OpenAI? Also has any company (if directed by the user) incorporated the empathy and conversational style of Pi from Inflection AI? And/or will Mustafa get Microsoft to absorb Pi functionality as an option? I use both ChatGPT and Pi. They have different strengths and weaknesses. I can handle using 2 LLMs, but not 5!!! If readers only choose 2, which would they be? I’m overwhelmed by choice!!

Today, I'm thrilled to share a significant milestone in my professional journey. After an incredible journey since day zero, I've made a challenging decision to say farewell to my role as Lead Product Manager at WeWALK. At WeWALK, we didn't just develop a product portfolio; we pioneered an entirely new category in the market. From navigating the 0 to 1 stage, we navigated through a challenging path of scaling our solutions, building end-user products, and groundbreaking hardware, software, and data-based products. What truly excites me is not just delivering a product portfolio but cultivating a product management culture in my role. I am proud to be handing over our roadmap to a team of skilled professionals who are passionate and committed to making an impact. I want to express my gratitude to the incredible team at WeWALK. ProductX was an amazing experience for me in the last couple of days. I heard from professional product managers about their areas of expertise, the obstacles they have faced, and their way of overcoming or failing and learning from failure. It was fascinating and inspiring. As a junior beginning my journey into the product world, it provided me with a valuable opportunity to grow and learn. Here are some of my takeaways from ProductX: 1. Choose my metrics carefully and think deeply about their connection to my goals and strategies, without automatically leaping to the obvious "hows", but focusing on the "what's". Thanks, Guy Mordecai for this open-minded speech. 2. Discovering the product way of making lemonade out of a lemon, by Oren Lewkowicz, and how to adjust to market changes and leverage them to my benefit. 3. Examining trending technologies, such as AI, without falling in love with the concept, but rather checking their necessity for the product. As Julia Diament said, "AI isn't magic," and Hadas Sheinfeld and Edik Mitelman debated and presented different perspectives on how to approach new trends. As Julia Diament recognized the loss of our loved ones during the 7.10, I felt inspired to make our work even more meaningful and impactful. Thank you for giving me this insight. After 3 years at Astronomer, I’m stepping down as VP of Product. During my time, we launched Astro and grew company revenue 15x. There are five lessons I’d like to share for my future self & others launching new products: 1. Identify an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) hypothesis from the outset You may be wrong, but that’s okay. Building a product “for everyone” isn’t helpful for your team to make decisions or your first customers to find you. Be specific to drive clarity and evolve as you learn more. 2. Launch early and prioritize ruthlessly Set a private beta deadline and then cut it in half. Deadlines force ruthless prioritization and nothing replaces the authentic feedback you get from customers getting hands-on with your product. 3. Fight for flow Your engineers and designers operate differently than your managers, and interruptions are costly. If you want to iterate faster, understand what’s limiting your team from reaching a true state of flow and fix it today. 4. Listen to what customers are saying when product is not in the room It’s never been easier to get the unbiased voice of your customers. From sales call recordings to support cases and shared Slack channels, it’s simpler than ever to understand and learn from the end-to-end experience your customers have with your company. That experience is your product. 5. Trust your gut Product is part science, part art. Customers, engineers, and formulas aren’t going to give you the answer on what you should build next. As a product leader, your job is to take it all in and articulate a compelling roadmap. What’s next? Let's say you are at Hollywood studios and you are shooting the new Gladiator 2 by Ridley Scott ( 🎥 Product). - The talent (Denzel Washington) shows up and performs ( 💻 Engineers). A product manager ensures that the talent is fully equipped, motivated, and aligned with the vision, facilitating her best performances - Gladiator 2 will still be "epic historical drama" and not "sci-fi". Here the PM navigates through changes and challenges, ensuring the product's direction remains on course. The director ( 🤝 CEO/Leadership) doesn’t completely go off the rails and veers off from the script - The studios goals are met under budget and on time. The product manager ensures people can do their job smoothly, while achieving their desired impact ( 👯♀️ Stakeholders) - Marketing is handled and theaters have materials. ( 🤩 Rollout/go-to-market strategy). The PM knows why some scenes must be cut and others introduced ( 🎛 features), ensures the movie poster is out, the genre lovers are targeted - To ensure the best Gladiator 2 experience, test screenings are held and feedback incorporated into the script ( 🎙 Customer interviews, A/B testing) - Moviegoers show up and pay the ticket ( 💷 Customers).
