NEW ❇️ Facebook Ads feature spotted 👀 A new option to 'Show nearby stores' now appears in Meta Ads Manager. When enabled, it will show store information to people who are close to a store. 🏪 Interesting! It seems like Meta is still testing the effectiveness of this feature as they will only show this information in approximately 50% of your ads. Let's keep an eye on this one! Around the end of April I stopped all my ads, and most of my client's ads as well, since we needed a bit of a rest, and planning the summer campaigns. Yesterday I started with new ads, and the results are terrible 💀 Meta: barely reach, CPM is as high as the cost-per-sale was 2-3 months ago. Google: Not even reaching a single person. Are we not friends since I stopped the ads, or are these platforms just a little bit too greedy? What are your experiences, have you found any solutions? Let's chat! #advertising #metaads #googleads

Meta is considering ad-free versions of Facebook and Instagram in the EU, due to the incoming Digital Services Act. For users who don't want to see personalized ads on Facebook and Instagram, Meta is prepared to offer users a paid monthly subscription instead - according to the New York Times. Meta's earnings report shows that they generate $5.96 per user, per month in Europe. So it seems viable for them to offer an affordable ad-free plan if that's what users really want. #meta #paidads #digitalmarketing #marketing #socialmedia

Meta is testing a subscription-based version of FB that is free of ads. At first thought as a digital marketer that could be bad news because that could mean less people to advertise to. However, there could be a positive to this. If a person is willing to pay to not have ads how likely are they to actually stop their scroll for an ad? Maybe this will make lead generation more effective. What are your thoughts? Comment below! https://lnkd.in/gPWjpqH8

New Facebook ad accounts do not generate results as established ad accounts. This is because Meta's machine learning process relies on data. If your ad account has a history of generating leads or sales, Meta's algorithm has a better understanding of who to target, what time of day to place ads, and how many impressions the average person needs to convert data. It's a common misconception that when you create a new AD account, you need to change your advertising strategy. Some people make the mistake of running traffic or engagement campaigns instead of focusing on leads and sales campaigns, which can do more harm than good. However, having a new ad account doesn't mean you should change your approach. It's important to understand that the performance of your ad account will improve over time, as you gather more conversion data. So, don't be discouraged if your ad account doesn't perform as well today as it will in six months or even years. #MariaKapsou

The big lesson I learned from Meta Ads last year: If it's working fine, leave it be. To put it simply: when a campaign is doing well, don't mess with it. We often feel the urge to keep tweaking successful campaigns, but sometimes it's best to just let them run smoothly, especially during busy buying times. #facebookads #googleads #mediabuying #performancemarketing #digitalamarketing
