♀️ Happy Women’s Equality Day! ♀️ We honor the suffragists, the women who shatter glass ceilings, save seats at the table, and elevate our voices. We celebrate, knowing full well that we are far from gender equality. The US has the highest gender parity score at only 77.6%. Women still only make $.83 for every dollar a man earns. Women are actively fighting for our reproductive rights and bodily autonomy. We recognize the distance is even greater for women of color and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Today we take pause to acknowledge the incredible role women play in all aspects of life, and we look to the future to push for progress towards true gender equality. #womensequalityday #womenempowerment #womenempoweringwomen #womanfounded

Happy Women’s Equality Day! Third Street Digital was built by the gritty hard work of women, and I am so grateful for the career opportunities that allowed me to build an all-woman team. While I’m celebrating our right to vote, I know we have a long road to reach gender parity. Here are a few ways we can commit to pushing progress for gender equality: ♀️Break the cycle of toxic competitive rivalry. Use your power to pull up seats at the table for other women. ♀ Men, this one is for you. Validate and amplify the voices and ideas of the women in your company. ♀Confront sexism, and do it loudly. ♀Give women, especially working moms, flexibility so they can excel in all of their different roles. ♀ Managers, review your wage gap and create a plan to address it directly.

Happy International Women’s Day! Women have made immense contributions to society in every sphere — from science and technology to politics, arts, and beyond. Yet, despite these contributions, women continue to face barriers to equality, including discrimination, violence, unequal pay, and limited access to education and healthcare. Now, more than ever, it's crucial to advocate for gender equality and women's rights. It's not just a women's issue; it's a human rights issue that requires the collective effort of all genders to address. #internationalwomensday #genderequality #womensequality

We enjoyed reflecting on what we've got right and wrong over the years striving to build more inclusive, mental healthy organizational cultures with Joy Burnford on The Equality Conversation. We touched on the challenges and benefits of co-leadership, parental leave, pivotal conversations that made us realize what we were getting wrong and what inspired us to launch WITHIN. Joy is the author of the best-selling book 'Don't Fix Women', which is packed full of practical suggestions and real-life case studies of what you can do to make a difference to gender equality in your organizations and communities, not by 'fixing the women' but by changing the system.
