Registration is open! Join us for a webinar on February 13, 2024, 10:30-11:30 am CT, on state actions that are leading to the scale of CBE in Texas! Over the past decade, Texas has been a pioneer in advancing competency-based education (CBE). This is in large part due to state-level leadership that has set the conditions to begin to scale CBE in all sectors of learning. Notably, there are well-established CBE programs at the technical college, community college, and university levels spanning certificates, associates, and bachelor degree credentials, state-level and cross-institution collaborative efforts, state-level foundation support in pilots, and supportive measures within outcomes-based funding formulas. In a new report from C-BEN, supported by the Greater Texas Foundation, these state actions will be shared as well as an outline for the potential for CBE to scale in Texas. Hear how Texas created the conditions for growth through: - State legislative actions that have created incentives - Role of state agencies and leadership for change - Considerations for outcomes-based funding models - College and university system-level supports for the implementation of CBE programs Join us for this unique view of CBE transformation across the state as well as the opportunities at hand to advance a robust agenda for scale. It is the final furlong for the summer holiday! As adults we fall in to 2 camps (mainly) 1. Parents. We are counting down the days until the kids go back to school. (This time - we have a university starter as well! That's new for us! )👨🎓 2. Adults without kids / kids no longer at school. We are counting down the days until the roads get really busy again in the mornings. ☹️ As exhibitors - we also fall into two camps. 1 - We've got this. You have prepared, have plans in place and are ready for the day and beyond. 😉😁 2 - Oh it's ages away! I will think about it nearer the time. It's only an exhibition 😳😳* The simple fact is, if you have booked to exhibit at an exhibition in this last quarter and you haven't given a lot of thought about it - you are likely to be bitterly disappointed. And it will be your fault! Get planning now and get some preparation in place. If you are not sure where to start, book a 15 minute call with me. No obligation, completely free and extremely useful for you to get you better prepared. https://lnkd.in/e7CexAUt *(These are extremes, it is likely you will be somewhere in between)
