1 - The Supreme Court needs term limits and more seats; 2 - Several Supreme Court (in)Justices are making rulings that benefit money hoarders, racists, bigots and misogynists; 3 - white identifying people are a protected class in the United States who literally are allowed to terrorize the U.S., tear down the Capitol building doors and carry fully functional pipe bombs into the government offices, beat officers, weaken this nation’s global security, disregard democracy, and attempt (violently) to overthrow the government without the fear of death at the hands of the police; 4 - if people who do not identify as white had done what the Jan 6 traitors/ terrorists have done to our democracy - many never would have made it to a trial - they would have been shot dead on Jan 6. 5 - if people who do not identify as white had done what the Jan 6 traitors/ terrorists have done to our democracy - the Supreme Court would have ruled to let the Jan 6 charges stand.

Examples of perverting the course of justice include lying to authorities during an investigation, misleading a court with false evidence, tampering with or destroying evidence, intimidating a witness, and bribing a police officer. If someone perverts the course of justice, they deliberately do something that will make it difficult to discover who really committed a particular crime, for example, destroying evidence or lying to the police. Is misleading testimony perjury? In most cases, yes. Any false statement intentionally made by a person while under oath could be considered perjury. Obstruction can include perjury, making false statements to officials, witness tampering, jury tampering, destruction of evidence and others.

Worth to consider

As the officers of The New York County Lawyers Association said in the statement we issued in response to the recent and escalating attacks on New York's criminal justice system, we will not accept these efforts at de-legitimization - especially when they come from legislators and others who are themselves lawyers, and as such have a special duty to uphold the rule of law and to foster respect, not contempt, for our legal system and all who serve it. This weekend marks the anniversary of 2 big SCOTUS decisions. The first one is Mathis v. United States (2016). A bit about this case and why it's important: 📜 What the government argued for: a rule that upended years of precedent by allowing for deportations and maximum prison sentences based on random and unproven facts written into old (often decades-old) criminal court paperwork and files. 💡 IDP’s amicus brief: focused on a rule that ensured due process protections that limit the government to using only facts that had been proven as the basis for deeming a conviction a deportable offense. ⚖️ The ruling: the Court rejected the government, with two highlights from the decision written by Justice Elena Kagan: 1. “We will not introduce inconsistency and arbitrariness into our decisions.” 2. “Everything this Court has ever said… runs counter to the Government’s position.” Read the full IDP amicus brief: https://lnkd.in/gSQX5Dgs

Can anyone relate 😂. In all seriousness, our United States Constitution guarantees us a “fair and SPEEDY trial” under the 6th amendment. How can we interpret this from both sides of the prosecution and defense? I feel our Founding Fathers would be rolling in the grave to see where we are today. How is justice served for victims years, decades, later? In that time, more vicitms are created… horrific crimes committed. It is time for CHANGE in both the law, and our standards, for the judicial system to move criminal prosecutions forward at a reasonable and responsible rate!

BARRON TRUMP'S GRADUATION 1. The judge has not ruled on this yet but right wing media is already screaming about it anyway - BECAUSE THEY ONLY LISTEN TO TRUMP - and don't pay attention to what anyone else says. And of course, Donald is lying again. The judge said he has not decided yet. 2. Trump NEVER ATTENDED a single graduation service for any of his other kids. Suddenly, he needs this day for his poor little boy, despite obviously not actually planning to be at the ceremony. 3. NO ONE EVER ANYWHERE UNDER CRIMINAL INDICTMENT GETS TO LEAVE TOWN. He wants special treatment. Far right news and fans are ready to give him MORE SPECIAL TREATMENT. Even the judge is CONSIDERING giving him special treatment and letting him go as long as it doesn't affect the trial. But that doesn't fit the narrative of VICTIM Don. 4. MAGA, how many other people in prison are you sad about not being able to go to their kids graduation? OH NONE!? REALLY?! The Jan 6 criminals? OK. Noted. 5. This is a CRIMINAL TRIAL FOR ELECTION FRAUD, not just sleeping around. This has very little to do with the act. That was legal. Hiding it in order to effect the election is the crime. 6. The guy who made the payoffs for Donald already went to prison and is out, having served his time FOR DOANLD TRUMP, who, 5 years later, is finally in court. Two-tiered system indeed. 7. Tucker generally does a respectably good job applying basic logic to most facts and big questions including the blatantly-obvious "thou shalt not ask THOSE big questions!", I've found. With some but not that many exceptions, again in my experience watching a fair number of lengthy interviews he has done and that have had him as the interviewee, too. Is it possible he is controlled opposition? Sure. Either way, I believe he commonly meets the reasonable man in (an uncorrupted!) court test hence I feel we should all at least pay attention and seriously contemplate his opinions, perspectives and interpretations, etc. +++ But that's just what I think.
