SAP has around 269 Million Cloud users currently, and the LARGEST Cloud portfolio of any provider. You might think that #cloud only optimizes IT. But 75% of cloud's predicted value comes from boosting INNOVATION. With the end of ECC support approaching quickly (end of 2027) - Are you planning your move to #SAP S/4HANA? Here are Top 3 benefits that give SAP S/4HANA ‘Cloud’ much more value than ‘On Premise’☁️🏆🚀 - SPEED: the Cloud option offers fast time-to-value. - MORE INNOVATION: The automatic latest innovation upgrades happen quarterly without customer’s participation - COST SAVING: doesn’t require you to invest in internal IT support, which ensures the smooth and stable operation of your other IT applications and reduces your expenses on IT staff. Run Simple💙 #sapcommunity #sapconsultant #sappartners #RISEwithSAP #S4HANA #saps4hana #SAPbtp #abap
Ohhh yess! Way way better performance and efficiency with Cloud
SAP is pushing for the migration to cloud versus On-Premises even withholding technical innovations from On-Premises to somewhat bully the customer into going to cloud. Cloud is a cash cow for SAP because SAP can nickel and dime the customer to death with every change order requests. From my experience the change order requests and follow on actions can be very slow and in many cases the customer will not get the end result they wanted from the change order. Then SAP will come back and communicate to the customer that they need to create another change order if you want changes. I am not a fan of having one company being at the mercy of another company handling the functionality of a major ERP System even though SAP sold that system to the company. Having an on-premises system and staff to support that system (SAP) is the route to go because you as the customer have your staff of experts managing the system (who understand your business) and who can advise you on Best Practices for your system. So I am very much a proponent of On-Premises SAP so a company can control their on destiny in running their daily business.
On a lighter note, if any customer's choice varies between S/4HANA On Premise to S/4HANA Public Cloud, such organizations are better of with Excel sheet as their ERP than venturing into complex SAP world. 😂
SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the best option especially when your company requires a high-performance offer that covers your core business strategies + at the same time provides greater agility, flexibility and faster upgrades cycle (quarterly rather than annually).
Perfect for small or medium-sized pigs that do not like to jump much. There is not much work for us(consultants) in the public cloud world. We love big. 🤮🥹🥶
What's the most common reason, "the cloud doesn't work for us" in your opinion?
I work as a sap consultant for a company that is unable to use SAP in this market. Managers find SAP to be exciting to use, but upper management never permits SAP conversion, which makes it difficult to understand why people enjoy this and why they are not interested in SAP while having knowledge of SAP.
S/4HANA Cloud is great value proposition and industry leaders will surely evaluate it.
