I have tried almost everything to find a role. I am running out of options and losing hope daily it feels like. I am asking my network for some much-needed help. You are all brilliant, strong, and passionate employees, and it was a pleasure working with you during my time there. As someone who was in your shoes a few months back, I understand the challenges you might be facing. Therefore, I am here to help you in any way I can. They worked for a Healthcare Technology #SaaS #Startup company in the Staffing and Recruiting area, where they saw tremendous growth, multiple restructuring, new system implementations, and a lot of role and process changes due to the ever-changing environment. These are employees who are used to working multiple projects, tasks, and roles at the same time. They can transition with ease and adapt to changing environments when necessary. Usually what blocks people from getting linked to opportunities is the fact that they don’t know how to get started or the don’t have a solid way of doing so. Here’s a short but direct template that helps you reach out to recruiters, hiring managers, or anyone hiring and clearly states why you’re reaching out. "Hi (hiring manager/ recruiter/poster name). saw your post about (insert role). I am interested in this role and think that my experience in (your role/aligning experience) would align with this position. I would like to connect with you further on this (via email or call (always specify time (15mins etc.)). Thank you!" (Edit to your tone). Recruiters in 2024, those of us that are lucky enough to be employed, please consider candidates with: > Transferable skills > Strong enthusiasm for the mission of your organization > Career gaps (2023 was brutal with layoffs) > A goal of transitioning career paths Some of these roles that seasoned professionals are applying to may seem entry level for them, but maybe they want to change up what they are doing, maybe their lives have changed and so have their needs, or they are more focused on work-life balance than the executive level roles they qualify for.
