Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has always been a desirable #Caribbean destination. But the world has only recently begun to catch on to her charms. #AirCanada now flies direct to Saint Vincent from YYZ, always a major factor for Canadians that don’t like stopovers on their way to a sun destination. Sandals is opening a 301-room resort on Saint Vincent in March. There also is a 250-room #Marriott on the way for the west coast of Saint Vincent, just north of the #Sandals property. All told, #tourism officials say they expect up to 1,000 new rooms in the next two to three years, with an emphasis on sustainable, eco-friendly, boutique properties. #SVG #SupportSVG #Investors #InvestSVG #Travel #VisitSVG #Trade #TradeWithSVG #LoveSVG #CARICOM #FDI #DoingBusinessSVG #TravelToSVG #Tourism #LiftSVGHigher #BuildBackBetter https://lnkd.in/dvzGZUZ3

"Summer may be over, but beach season doesn’t have to be. In fact, with fewer crowds and cooler temperatures, fall is the best time to explore coastal towns where cultural sites, natural wonders, and tons of history tell memorable stories to take back home." National Geographic recently recognized Cape May as their top-ranking U.S. beach town that is even better in the fall, and while we may be biased, we couldn't agree more! All you need to know about the Riviera Maya Best Beaches... #BestBeaches #RivieraMaya #Mexico. The Riviera Maya is the section of Caribbean coast on the eastern side of the #Yucatán Peninsula between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. It’s about 125 miles long! #TheRivieraMaya features warm #Caribbean waters and pristine #beaches. Also, the Great Mayan Reef—the largest #coralreef in the Atlantic Ocean—is located offshore, providing world-class diving and snorkeling. Another draw to this area is the presence of the best preserved #Mayan archeological sites... plus a few world-class golf courses to round out the local attractions. #Cancun, one of Mexico’s top two resort towns. Cancún was nothing more than a small fishing village when it was targeted for development in 1974. As it exploded into a tourist mecca of more than 700,000, the swath of development extended southward to Playa del Carmen... transforming Cancún from a #fishingvillage to a town of more than 150,000 today. #PlayadelCarmen is just 50 minutes south of Cancún, and it has taken over as the region’s chic place to be (and the place to be seen). You’ll find vacationing #Europeans and North #Americans as well as a sizeable number of expats in residence. #Tulum just few years ago consisted of a handful of cabins and a few fishing shacks. Today, the census counts more than 18,000 people in Tulum. THE BEST BEACH EXPERIENCES IN PORTUGAL ARE TO BE FOUND ON THE LONG ATLANTIC ALENTEJO COAST Imagine a beach, sandy dunes — a small fishing town down the road. A couple of local eateries perched on a cliff. Long ripples of waves, clean Atlantic waters — no sprawl, no crowds, just the warmth of the sun, sea and sky. Welcome to the coast of the Alentejo. And, if the coast of the Alentejo is not on your list, you are really missing something. This is the place to explore, enjoy and relax. The Alentejo is the heartland of Portugal, home to rolling plains, cork forests and with endless views under a crisp blue sky. But the Alentejo goes beyond land. In fact, its name tells us it is also beyond water — literally, beyond (além) the Tejo River. From north to south, the region is surrounded by water with the Atlantic Ocean touching its southwestern coast. Here there are more than 85 miles of beaches along the Alentejo’s Atlantic shore, one of the most conserved coastlines in Southern Europe. Rimmed by green pine cliffs, paths will lead you down through dunes to the seas, where ocean breezes and clean golden sands await. https://lnkd.in/ebgaP7sN

If you’re looking for an island getaway with natural wonders, history, culture and pristine beaches, the DR is for you. The crystalline, turquoise waters of the Caribbean and blue waters of the Atlantic meet pearl-white sand beaches, rugged mountain landscapes, thick pine forests, wind-swept desert dunes, mangrove lagoons, and lush, wild rainforests. This volcanic-formed island nation is rich with natural wonders and ranks first for biodiversity in the Caribbean. Fourteen national parks and nine nature reserves spread across the land. Exotic fruits and vegetables make for colorful, fresh food. And charming cities once conquered by Spanish conquistadors are rich with history, restored monasteries and cobblestone streets. Club Med has all-inclusive resorts in two destinations: Punta Cana & Michès Playa Esmeralda. Both locations are ideal for families or couples searching for vacation destinations that offer it all. From stress-free relaxation to thrilling adventures, our all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic have it all.
