AI's Impact on Personal Privacy: The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence poses challenges to personal privacy. While AI technologies can enhance convenience and efficiency, they also have the potential to erode individual freedoms by enabling widespread surveillance and data manipulation. Striking a balance between innovation and the protection of personal liberties becomes crucial. Discussions like this will be played out at the Liberty In Tech Conference. Come hang out with thinkers, teachers, attorneys, politicos, anarchocapitalists, freedom minded cypherpunks, VC's, Libertarians, Republicans, Democrats, liberals, conservatives - we all have something to get out of a conference that discusses freedom and how it is impacted with these prevalent emerging technologies. This debate is so interesting. In my humble opinion, the right to the internet and connectivity should be a fundamental human right. Regardless of where you’re from. Being able to have a truly global hive mind, and emancipate people with unprecedented access to online tools and resources as the next addition to their evolutionary Swiss-army knife of adaptation is an absolute no-brainer and no matter what you think of Elon, the Starlink project is excellent in facilitating that. However, the weird, eerie discussion under a lot of these articles about ‘preserving the authenticity of the tribal culture’ is very ‘noble savage-esque’ and kind of smacks of the human zoo 19th century vibe we had in the Euro-American sphere. The travel influencer community still often perpetrates this stereotype, that ‘oooh we should *keep them pristine in loincloths* for the ‘gram’. I don’t blame anyone, and the idea of tradition/cultural erosion is pervasive in everyday life from travelling to politics (‘don’t vote for party X otherwise we’ll lose this obscure tradition which in reality probably only exists for about 80 years but is used to hold up the myth of the nation state and cultural belonging, so we’ll bash our heads in over it’) but this is why we need to have interdisciplinary discussions about these things. Yes, of course the ‘tribespeople’ are going to watch porn - exactly the same everyone else uses the internet for (ok maybe not everyone but sex, funny nonsense, shopping, and all those other very human realities are what all members of the Homo sapiens species will predominantly be using these technologies for whether they’re in a literal jungle or a concrete one). However, it shows how crucial education is coming hand in hand with any innovation. I’m a fan of education and prevention (and free choices, based on informed decision making) first, regulations second, and the importance of digital literacy is really eye-burning in this particular case. Although, again, given how many of our fellow citizens are being scammed daily and have their password set as ‘1234’, it shows us that that’s a theme we should be discussing globally. Anyway, what are your thoughts about this particular story? We’re working on a blockchain learning platform with Mobilis Institute with the help of the phenomenal GALAXIS where we want to address the issues of the current educational system so this is something that really interests me, more so in these anthropologically-interesting contexts. P.S. I purposefully picked a very tabloid headline out of all the stories about it out there, as that’s the one which is in reality reaching the mass population which then forms the majority argument about these matters :)

We are naturally predisposed to trust — it's in our genes, and it has helped humanity thrive. Trust is our undervalued superpower, it is priceless. Let’s explore the unexpected interplay between Trust, Technology, Intelligence, and the Environment. Intelligence is public, out in the open. We have displayed our intelligence in text, audio, video, products, and services to the universe. Technology consumes publicly available human intelligence as input, processes the information using enormous electricity, and mimics humans by generating 'Artificial Intelligence' as an output. Trust is in our heads, in our thoughts. It is private and it can change. Thoughts are evolutionary: nature's language. We express less than 1% of our thoughts. Human languages have limitations, and cannot compete with nature's language. We brush it under the carpet as intuition or gut reaction. Technology needs input, thoughts, and trust is not available as input just yet. Intelligence can be artificial but there is nothing artificial about trust. “Artificial trust” – the phrase sounds phoney and untrustworthy in itself. Trust is a prerequisite for high performance and harmony in any team. Lack of trust at home, work, or society is a sign that humanity is losing sight of the superpower that made us the dominant species in the world. Replacing human trust with technology is the last frontier, we are not there yet but the price is too high. Do we want to cross the last frontier? Chris Davis inspired me to think along these lines. Chris is a renowned investor at Davis Advisors. Chris makes an economic case for trust and provides a framework to quantify trust. “Let’s take the case of blockchain using technology, as a means of exchange that does not require human trust. Consider an interesting thought experiment, how much energy needs to be consumed to duplicate trust. we have to burn a lot of carbon and burn a lot of electricity generate a lot of electricity to generate a substitute for trust. You think about this idea of operating in a web of earned trust, and we talk about it on a moral plane that this is good, the right way to behave. You have to have some metaphysical belief in the power of good, but you could be entirely mercenary and simply say, that trust is an incredible source of efficiency particularly in business.” What do you think? “Live, Laugh, and Learn every day” You can read my writings at https://lnkd.in/ejq7CWaQ #iamnoguru #innovation #career #cxo #cfo #coo #ai #ceo #finance #leadership #career

The big shindig in the EU about their regulated wallet effort should make it quite clear that the EUIDW is not designed to be the sort of wallet that the people in the streets use a wallet. There were no examples of wallet use in the places where we use them today. No - only the WEIRD ecosystems support wallets. Read the following for which humans will benefit from this effort. https://lnkd.in/ghuKgRrU

https://lnkd.in/e5G8yzVx Brief Clarification Of " Hierarchy " Through Time and History and Modern Age. ▫ ◾ ◻ ⬛ 🔳 ⬜ ◼ ◽ ▪ 🔺 🔻 Hierarchy refers to a system of organizing or arranging things, people, or concepts in a graded or ranked order, often based on levels of importance, authority, or power. It is a fundamental concept in various fields such as sociology, anthropology, biology, and organizational theory. In addition to hierarchies, there are other parallel systems of organization that have been observed in different contexts: Networks: Networks are structures where nodes (individuals, organizations, or entities) are connected to one another through various types of relationships, such as social, informational, or technological connections. Unlike hierarchies, networks can be more flexible and adaptable. Market Systems: In economics, markets are systems that facilitate the exchange of goods, services, and information between individuals and entities. Markets can operate through various mechanisms, including supply and demand dynamics, price signals, and competition. Egalitarian Systems: These are social structures characterized by a lack of formalized hierarchy or significant differences in power or authority among individuals or groups. Egalitarian systems aim for equality and fairness in decision-making and resource distribution. Decentralized Systems: These systems distribute decision-making and authority across multiple nodes or entities, reducing reliance on a central authority. This concept is often applied in contexts like blockchain technology, where power is distributed across a network of nodes. Federated Systems: Federations are systems where multiple entities or states come together to form a larger, overarching entity while retaining some level of autonomy. Examples include federal governments like the United States or the European Union. Holarchies: This is a system of organization where entities exist within larger wholes, and each entity is simultaneously a part and a whole. It allows for nested levels of organization without rigid hierarchical structures. #Hierarchy #History #Economy #Perception #Summery #Ideas #Awareness #Euryeth #Maziramy.
