Circular Economy For those who collect, those who believe and take care of things with a remindable and sustainable relevance. Art, Books, Cars, Clothes, Furniture, Objects, Records … Everything with a growing relevance and therefore worth to keep. Pre Owned, Vintage, Rare Grooves … If someone gets bored about it, the other one gets excited about it. The good things stay in the loop. Pharell Williams has its own auction called Joopiter. A great idea to share cultural relevance.

Cool objects at conferences This time, a cool thing I found at a conference was these old glass plate negatives. Creating these negatives was an interesting process. (look it up if you want details, it would take too long to explain in a social post). . . #conferencephotographer #eventphotographer #eventlife #travelphotographer #conference #corporatephotographer #corporatelife

Have you ever had times when you just can not get on the same page with your team when solving a problem? I wanted to share about this great human-centered design tool shared by Dana Silver on the American Alliance of Museums website. In this tool, she shares how you can embrace convergent and divergent thinking as central to both your problem space, "aka what really is the problem you are solving," and the "solution space." https://lnkd.in/gGFcCeFj

How is your 4th Quarter going? 2023 is almost over and I can't believe it. This year has been full of ups and downs, and I hope that you are planning ways to end yours on a high note. One way to find a plan is to get a sense of the bigger community as a whole. This edition of the APN Wire is all about getting some perspective by zooming out. To learn more about the overall picture take a look at our resource section. Art pros everywhere are surveying our community, and you can take a look at this year's results. It's also a good idea to build and promote your network, and Q4 is the perfect time. Take a minute and reach out to two of my favorite vendors, Hollinger Metal Edge and Testfabrics. They provide some of the highest quality customer service and are willing to work through just about any challenge you might have in collections and exhibitions. Also, if you have a vendor or art pro you want to cheer on in the Bay Area, add them to one of the best resources around...the Art List Bay Area. Share their info so we can all connect! Speaking of sharing knowledge, the articles section has some stories about all sorts of intel in the art world. From snazzy new makeovers to found treasure, there are some exciting rediscoveries to learn about. Also, take a moment to check out the study that just came out about museum workers and their struggles in the industry. It gives some perspective on the way we are feeling as a whole and might add some insight into how your peers are coping with their 2023. What I truly hope for all of you is for some closure and the ability to make plans for the future. Look at those to-do lists, adjust the goals for your year, and consider where you want to be when the ball drops on New Year's. It is not too far away, and reflection now can give you time to do something productive with the way you feel. Also, zooming out can help you have some empathy with those you work beside. It's been a challenging year, and I wish you all the strength to end it with kindness. #museumworker #art #4thquarter https://lnkd.in/gQpPttyR
