Let's have the conversation with our family members. It is critical to know what each person's wishes are before we become unable to share our plans. This was a difficult conversation for my parents and I to have. It was filled with a great deal of emotion and we only enacted a few of the plans. It would have been a little easier if we had more discussions around when and where they wanted to be in their last days. Take a few minutes and think of your own plans for end of life.
