What if I told you there's a company working on growing tiny, fully functional livers inside people's bodies using injected cells? Sounds like sci-fi, right? But that's exactly what LyGenesis is doing. The founder Dr. Michael Hufford sees this as the future of regenerative medicine. It's an insanely ambitious and potentially life-changing idea. If LyGenesis can pull this off, they'll go down in the biotech history books. #regenrativemedicine #livertransplant #innovation #healthcare #greyb

Really excited to be at BIO this year - it's a particularly exciting conference given the incredible diversity of innovative therapeutic technologies on display. So much potential impact on patient lives embedded in novel ways to direct science against unmet needs. The most common challenge I see is - where do I start? In a world where you have unlimited therapeutic potential - but finite funds and capacity - how do you focus your efforts to maximize both financial value and, ultimately, patient impact? The early investments you make in translational and clinical data generation will define how the external world sees and values your innovation. So many companies under-invest in getting this right - and downstream mis-steps quickly erode capital resources and organizational value, and ultimately prevent great science from realizing its potential to impact patient lives. If you're wrestling with these questions I would love to connect, share common pitfalls, and talk through how we can help with this critical stage in the innovation lifecycle. If you're at #BIO2024 and want to connect live, or just want to hop on a call in the coming weeks, don't hesitate to reach out. https://lnkd.in/eY4j7w7M
ClearView is excited to participate in BIO 2024! We're particularly optimistic given the positive trend in private capital raises, as we start to see great science receive the funding it needs on the path to medicine. We typically help pre-revenue innovators understand how to integrate capital deployment against organizational, clinical, and commercial strategy to really maximize the impact of new science on unmet patient needs. If you're wrestling with these issues or others, and could benefit from a fresh perspective, be sure to reach out and let's find time now or next month in San Diego!
